SEND
Inclusion & Equality
Living and learning together as part of the family of God; we seek to inspire every person to be deeply rooted in the values of the Christian faith and to experience being connected in a loving community - to grow , flourish and bear much fruit.
At Holy Trinity, we have a strong commitment to supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). Our SENCO works with school staff, parents, trustees, the local authority and external professionals to support pupils with additional educational needs.
The SENCO can be contacted via the school’s main number: 01923 822529 or by email: sendco@holytrinitynorthwood.org
We aim to identify pupils with SEND as early as possible and have a focus on early interventions in order to allow children greater access to the curriculum. For every child with SEND, we make reasonable adjustments in order to support them with their learning and development in all areas of their schooling.
If you are concerned that your child may have an additional educational need, speak first to the class teacher. The class teacher will share their observations and discuss your concerns with the SENCO. The SENCO may then contact you to discuss any concerns and how they may be addressed.
For further information, please refer to our Special Education Needs Policy and SEN Information Report, available on the Policies and Reports page.
