Bugsy MaloneDate: 28th July 2014
We are sure everyone who saw the Key Stage 2 production of Bugsy Malone will agree that this was a fun, vibrant, action packed performance showcasing our multi-talented Year 6 children, ably supported by the rest of Key Stage 2.
Every child in Key Stage 2 has been involved in learning songs and dance routines. Many thanks to the parents who have provided costumes and props; also a huge thank you to those parents who kindly let us borrow fans so that the cast and audience did not faint!
We were delighted to have the services of Jon Hooper from Holy Trinity Church who cheerfully gave up his time to play keyboards for us and even brought Martin Skipsey, a drummer, along with him! The production also benefited hugely from the expertise of Karen Pike, a Year 6 parent, who choreographed most of the dance routines and gave up hours of her time to work with groups of children. No Holy Trinity production would work without the technical wizardry of Carl Landsbert – we are always so grateful for his assistance.
We know the children will remember this production for many years to come, particularly the fun they had with the splurge guns and custard pies!
