Choir singing at Sunshine House Christmas Extravaganza

16th December 2014
Choir members from Years 4, 5 and 6 went to Sunshine House on 16th December to sing at their Christmas Extravaganza.  The children were very excited as this is one of the highlights of the Choir's year!  Upon arrival they performed a variety of songs from the jolly "Rudolph the red-nosed reindeer" accompanied by our virtuoso ukulele players to a jazzed-up version of "The Angel Gabriel from heaven came".  We were delighted to be able to sing our favourite "Midnight" with children from Frithwood School.

After singing, the children followed a trail around Sunshine House school and grounds where they encountered some animals, walked through a snowstorm (created by a snow machine), met Father Christmas and ate chocolate - what a great way to spend the afernoon.

Thank you to the patient parent helpers who supported on the expedition.  For more photos, look in the Galleries section of the website.
