Starship Indigo

12th July 2016
On 12th and 13th July, Key Stage 2 gave two performances of "Starship Indigo", a play written especially for them by Mr. Dale.  Year 6 children had lead roles and were ably supported by Years 3, 4 and 5 who not only formed a choir but also performed dances on stage.

Costumes, hair and make-up looked fantastic - thank you to all the parents who provided the phenomenal range of clothes worn by the children.  Many thanks also to the team of parents and ex-pupils who helped with face painting and hairdressing.

The set (the deck of the Starship Indigo) was enhanced by amazing lighting courtesy of Mr. Dale and one of his Pinewood colleagues.

Huge thanks to Carl Landsbert and his team for providing sound in a very technically challenging play.  Also many thanks to everyone who helped to put the Church Hall back to normal so that it could be used by Toddlers the following morning.

We also wish to extend our thanks to the PTFA members who sold interval refreshments over the two evenings.

Well done to all our children, but particularly Year 6, for a memorable summer production.
