Messy Church

18th October 2012

We were delighted to see so many families attending our first ever Messy Church on Friday 12th October.  The theme of the afternoon was "I am the vine" and activities ranged from potato printing and making bookmarks to the most popular activity, icing fairy cakes.  Some of the cakes were so covered in icing grapes it was difficult to see any white icing underneath!  Many thanks to Colette Rees (ably assisted by Millie) and Carys Burland for organising this edible activity.  Thank you also to Lucy Hamwijk, Sian Henton and Nick Dale for assisting school staff in running different tables.

Messy Church finished with a short worship session led by Kevin Draper and Mr. Bornman.  Everyone who attended thoroughly enjoyed the occasion.  We hope to see many more families at the next Messy Church in November - if you would like to run an activity please contact the school office.  The theme of the next Messy Church will be "I am the light of the world."
