Welfare

School Welfare Officer - Mrs Nikki Hunt

We are currently updating all our systems and medical records in school. If your child has a care plan, please send in the latest plan you have to admin@holytrinitynorthwood.org, we will then contact you to go through this with you.

Updating Policies
We will also be updating our medical policies in school. If your child has a high temperature in school, we will be phoning you to collect your child and asking you to take them for a test. We will not be keeping them in school and giving them Calpol.

All prescribed medication including creams and lip balms will need a ‘Consent Form’, which is available at the bottom of this page, and emailed to me along with a photo/letter of the prescription. No medication, unless lifesaving or prescribed, will be given unless we have permission from parents/carers first.

If your child has an accident at school, this will be recorded on our school system and you will receive a Class Dojo message for your own records.

Winter and Spring

Please ensure that your child brings a coat to school every day. Please put your child’s name on the items of clothing including gloves, hats and scarves.

Summer/Hayfever
As we come into Spring, we know that a number of children need antihistamines. We ask that you give this to your child before school, but if they need it before they come home with you, please complete a consent form and email it to admin@holytrinitynorthwood.org

Summer hats are encouraged in warm weather and if your child needs to wear sunglasses due to hayfever then they can, but the school will not take responsibility for loss. Suncream needs to be applied before school, we are not able to apply this in school.
