Ash Class trip to Hampton Court

19th January 2016
Ash Class enjoyed their trip to Hampton Court on 19th January.  They saw the grandeur of the rooms Henry VIII used and the enormous kitchens that fed the King, his many servants and his guests.  A highlight for the children was the fire lit in one of the kitchen's spit roasting areas.  After lunch, Lady Beth talked to the class about life in Tudor times and they had the opportunity to hold everyday items the Tudors would have used.  They danced a Tudor dance and then a sleepy Ash Class returned to school.
