Christingle Service 3.12.15

3rd December 2015
The whole school attended our annual Christingle Service on 3rd December.  The children had made their Christingle the previous day so the building had a lovely aroma of orange zest overnight.  Much excitement was had when the lights in Church were switched off and the glowsticks were snapped to shine as a symbol of the Light of the World.  As a healthy school, we put raisins on our four cocktail sticks - the raisins represent the fruits of the earth and the cocktail sticks represent the four seasons.
During the service, the Choir sang Howard Goodall's "Refuge" which reminds us of the importance of being a refuge for others at this time of year.
