Christmas Church Service

17th December 2021
On Friday 17th December we held a special Thanksgiving Christmas Service in Holy Trinity Church.  Whilst we extend the invitation to all families to attend, due to the new Covid variant, we split the service into two sections and only invited one parent from each household to attend.
The Thanksgiving Service began at 9 am with children in Woodlands, Oak and Ash and then continued at 9.45 am for KS2 (Willow, Cedar, Sycamore and Redwood) children.
Throughout the services, there was singing of Christmas carols and the retelling of the birth of Baby Jesus, led by Year 6.
During the quite emotional Christmas Church Service, we said a fond farewell to members of staff, Mr Brown and Mrs Arthur, and we gave thanks for the life of Nishat Dossa, a former parent and ex-member of staff, who sadly passed away earlier this year following a long battle with Cancer.  We will also said a huge thank you to Revd Norris in recognition of his many years of dedicated service leading Holy Trinity as Headteacher and Executive Headteacher.
We received some lovely comments from parents regarding the speeches made and therefore wished to share details for those who did not have the opportunity to attend the service.  The speeches are available below.
