31st March 2017
Our Easter Service was led by Sycamore Class who gave us news reports of the Easter story. We were delighted with the Community Choir's performance of "Our Father" from African Sanctus - many thanks to those parents (past and present), ex-pupils and family members who took part. Mrs. Hills gave a moving farewell speech in which she reminded us all to live by our school values. She was then completely taken by surprise when Mr. Norris presented her with the St. Mellitus medal, the last one to be awarded by the Bishop of London, the Rt Revd and Rt Hon Richard Chartres, before his retirement in February. The Order of St Mellitus is conferred upon a person who has made a substantial contribution to the Christian life of London. We are so proud of Mrs. Hills for being awarded this honour and so grateful to her for all her contributions to our school.
