Fourth Plinth Competition winners!

9th May 2014

On Thursday 1st May, Isis and Sable of Redwood class were invited to City Hall in London to receive their prize and certificate for coming runners up in the Fourth Plinth Schools Award.

The day was very special to the girls, their family and me. We are immensely proud of them for creating such an amazing piece of artwork.

The Turner Prize winning artist, Jeremy Deller, presented the award to Isis and Sable and said he wished he had thought of their idea first! The girls were also interviewed for the ITV evening news.

All the artwork is on display at City Hall, which is open to the public until 30th June so please go along and have a look.

Well done to all the Holy Trinity children for such inspirational and creative work submitted for the competition.
