Maple Class trip to Ruislip Woods 1.12.15
1st December 2015
On 1st December Maple Class visited Ruislip Woods for the day. After listening to a story in the Woodland Centre, the children ventured out into the woods with their teachers and parents. Although they were lucky to have super weather on the day, the children still did a wonderful job walking around the nature reserve in difficult conditions.
After having a packed lunch in the Woodland Centre, everyone ventured out into the woods again, where they split into two teams to see who could build the best woodland village. Mrs. Hunt judged the competition, declaring a draw having watched the children work hard building homes for hedgehogs, shelters for people and bird tables, amongst other structures.
