Cedar Class British Museum Visit

19th November 2019

On Tuesday 19th November, Cedar Class visited The British Museum. When we arrived, we were in awe of the impressive museum building which emulates classical Greek architecture. The children enjoyed exploring the Sutton Hoo Galleries where they learnt about: the many Anglo-Saxon treasures that were excavated in 1939 and then lovingly restored to their former glory. We also visited rooms that housed many impressive Egyptian obelisks, statues sarcophagi and other artefacts.

The staff were very proud of the children as they proved to be excellent ambassadors for Holy Trinity and Mrs Morgan would like to thank Mrs Dalton, Mrs Anderton, Mrs Baker, Mrs Patterson and Mrs Attar-Zadeh for accompanying us on the trip.
