Terrific Scientific School of Excellence

24th September 2017
You may remember that last year we took part in Terrific Scientific which was an initiative set up by the BBC. It involved taking part in several mass-participation investigations. Years 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 each took part in one of the investigations and submitted their results, along with other schools around the country, to the BBC. Our school's results can be seen on the website's interactive map of the country.

As a result of all the hard work by our children, we have been awarded the Terrific Scientific 'School of Excellence' Status. This award is supported by the Primary Science Quality Mark and the BBC.

Following the success of last year, we have decided that Holy Trinity will once again take part in Terrific Scientific. This year, the investigations are aimed at age 9+ so they will be carried out by years 4-6.
We look forward to keeping you all informed of our findings.
